Templates

Templates are at the heart of the Praccelerate application and allow you to create a new patient note rapidly. The idea of a template is to set it up and tailor it to the procedure so that when you come to creating your live patient note, 95% of the content is pre-filled or available as an option to choose from. You no longer have to write the same piece of content 20 times a week.

Templates allow you to:

  • House as many sections as you like within each tab
  • Save options to each section for you to choose from when creating your note
  • If an option is usually a default, you can select it from the list to pre-fill it as an entry on the template so it is ready to go when creating your note

Import Praccelerate templates

At Praccelerate, we are focussed on saving you time so we have curated our own world-class templates for you to import. These are 'ready-to-go' with a single click. Once a template has been imported, you can edit any component (section, option or entry) and tailor it to your requirements and how you prefer to make notes. Simply go to 'Templates' from your dashboard and click the 'Import' button.

We are always looking to expand and improve our library of Praccelerate templates and we offer incentives to those clinicians who are keen to work with us. Please email support@praccelerate.com for further information.

Duplicating a template

It can be useful to use the 'copy function' to duplicate an existing template. Simply go to 'Templates' from your dashboard, click the 'Copy' button, select the template and click confirm at the bottom of the screen.

Library and templates

  • If you create a new option when setting up your template, it will be automatically added to your library
  • Options can be edited via the library
  • If you update a library option, it will be updated across all your templates
  • If you delete an option from the library, it will be deleted from all your templates
  • If you import a 'ready made' Praccelerate template, the associated options will automatically populate your library

Saving a submitted note as a new template

If you create a patient note that would be useful as a template to create new notes from in the future, you can save a submitted note as a new template.

Non-editable sections

Some sections are compulsory to a note (e.g. patient) and cannot be edited.
